Reviews from Google
Homeowners, in their own words.
“They completely transformed multiple spaces in the home — from a custom feature wall and built-in office to a stunning media wall — all with a clean, modern design that truly elevates the entire property. The attention to detail, quality of materials, and overall craftsmanship really stand out in person. More importantly, the experience was seamless from start to finish. Their team was professional, communicative, and delivered exactly what was promised.”
“We could not be happier with the results of the wall unit that Beyond Closets built and installed. I read the previous reviews and was convinced this was the right company to go with. Alan came by and gave us an estimate and did some measuring. A few weeks later, we had the unit installed. The guys that came who did the installation were fantastic, and just very nice people to deal with.”
“I am a Custom Home and Remodeling General Contractor licensed in Florida since 1980. I have had many many jobs done by Beyond Closets over the past 15 years and I can personally state that I have always received clean, finished and professionally installed custom closets… If I could give 6-Stars to any of my subcontractors, Beyond Closets would be the one that receives them.”
“We had a great experience with this Beyond Closets. Everyone we worked with was kind, attentive, and truly listened to what we wanted. They delivered exactly what they promised and made good on everything along the way. The quality of the work was excellent, and the price was very fair.”
“Beyond Closets did a Great job & with an unexpectedly reasonable price. I was going to buy & install a Closet Maid brand closet system but luckily had the pros design it and install their own custom fabricated system. Their guidance with the design was right on the money, the quality and fit and finish was excellent… and it costs quite a bit LESS than the closet maid set up AND they did the work.”
“Beyond Closets has been the most reliable, professional and courteous business I have had dealings with in Florida. Timely response — they always call back and get you the answers you need… Having worked with Beyond Closets on three projects was an absolute pleasure.”
“From my pencil & paper scribble Beyond Closets took my idea for a music/office area, expanded on the idea, enhanced it and built it. I could not be more pleased. The wood is beautiful… Responsive, creative staff and super craftsmanship.”
“Beyond Closets was recommended to us and we are so happy that we had them do all of our closets. This is a local family owned business and Sari knows her closets! Don't hesitate to call them for a design.”
“This is the second set of office and bedrooms this company has made for me. They also did a walk in closet. You would not believe the quality and workmanship. Left the house clean after every day's work. Highly recommended. On time.”
“Custom designed my home office. A pleasure to deal with. Installation was BEYOND perfect. Design, delivery, installation… PERFECT.”
“Couldn't be happier with the final product and install. Couldn't recommend this company any higher for your home or business.”
“Everyone should know about the excellent products and service from Beyond Closets in Delray Beach. Don't hesitate to use their experienced and dedicated team for your various closet needs. We will definitely return to them for our next projects! Excellent experience at every level!”

Our custom built-in solutions
What we can build for your space.
Walk-In & Reach-In Closets
Three ways to build it, then anything you want added to any of them. All are made to your ceiling height and your room's exact dimensions.
Standard Closet Upgrade
The full custom build: shelving, hanging, and drawers laid out around how you actually get dressed, in the finish and hardware you pick.
Premium Closet Upgrade
Everything in the standard build, plus the details that turn a closet into a dressing room.
Reach-In Closets
The standard bedroom, hall, or guest closet — rebuilt so the full depth and height earn their keep instead of one rod and a shelf.
Wall Units, Media Centers & Entertainment
Less of a menu and more of a room — these get designed around the wall you have. A few we've built:
Home Offices
Built-in desks, storage, and shelving that sit in the room like they were framed into it.
Every design is built around your space — organized and functional, guided by the same designer from first sketch to final install.
How to get started
How to get started with your own custom built-ins project.
4 steps from the first click to the finished install. Here is exactly what each one involves and who does what.
- 12 minutes, online or by phone
Book your in-home consult
Answer a few quick questions right here on the page, or call during business hours. You'll choose the styles and finishes you're drawn to — that's what tells your designer which samples to load into the truck — and we'll call to lock in a time that works. No fee, no deposit, no obligation.
Prefer to talk it through first? We answer the phone during business hours — Mon–Sat 8am–6pm.
- 260–90 minutes at your home
We come to you, with the real thing
Your designer arrives at the scheduled time with actual door, finish, and hardware samples in hand. We measure the space, learn how you actually use it, and talk through what you want it to do. Where we can, you get an official quote the same day.
- 3Within 48 hours
Your 3D render arrives
You'll receive a 3D render of exactly what was discussed in your home — so you can see the real thing, in your own space, before you commit to it. It's free, and it's a $500 value.
The roomThe render - 43–5 weeks
Final details, timeline, and build
We confirm the last details, give you a firm timeline to completion, and get started. Fabrication is ours and so are the installers — no subcontractors walking through your house.
That is the whole process. The first step takes two minutes.

The Beyond Closets difference
Built to hold up to real life, not just the showroom.
Metal-sided drawers, not stapled particleboard
Every drawer box is reinforced with metal sides, so it holds its shape and keeps gliding smoothly for years instead of sagging under a stack of sweaters.
Soft-close on every drawer and door
Premium undermount slides and hinges bring everything to a quiet stop — no slamming, no catching fingers, nothing rattling loose over time.
Sealed, finished edges throughout
A raw edge chips and snags a sweater within a season. Ours are sealed and finished smooth, so it still looks new years in.
Shelves that lock in, not just sit there
Every shelf is notched and anchored into the frame, so it carries a full stack of linens or shoes without shifting or slipping loose.
A real hardware selection
Handles and knobs in enough finishes to match the room — not one default pull because that's what happened to be on the truck.
Organization built in, not an upsell
Every primary walk-in includes a jewelry tray, valet rod, belt rack, and tie rack as standard — not line items added back onto your quote.

Before you book
The questions everyone asks.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes — the visit, the measuring, the design, and the price are all free and carry no obligation. We do this because our close rate is far higher after someone sees a real design for their own space than it would ever be from a website. It typically takes 60–90 minutes.
Am I going to get a hard sell in my own home?
No. Your designer's job is to design the space and price it accurately, then leave you with both. There's no expiring discount and no manager to call. Most of our clients take at least a few days to decide, and plenty compare us to other quotes first.
What does a custom closet actually cost?
It depends entirely on the size of the space, the material, and whether you want features like lighting, glass fronts, or an island — which is exactly why we won't quote a number on a website and then change it in person. Your designer gives you a firm, itemized price at the appointment, and we'll happily design to a budget you set up front.
How long does the whole process take?
Most projects run 3–5 weeks from design approval to installed. Standard closets are usually installed in a single day; larger wall units and multi-room projects can take two. We'll give you real dates, not a vague window.
Do you do more than closets?
We do — home offices, pantries, entryways, garages, and laundry rooms as well. If you'd like your designer to look at another room while they're there, just mention it when you book and we'll allow extra time.
Who actually does the installation?
Our own employees, not subcontractors. The same company that measured and designed your space builds and installs it, which is why we're able to stand behind the fit.
What happens if something isn't right after installation?
Beyond Closets stands behind our work and craftsmanship. If anything needs adjustments after your install is complete, we will re-service it at no additional cost for a full 60 days. No service call fee and no argument about whether it's covered — call the office and we'll schedule a visit to put it right.
Are you a franchise?
No. Beyond Closets is family owned and operated out of Delray Beach. When you call, you reach the family that runs the business — not a national call center that routes your job to whichever dealer is closest.
Still deciding? The consult is free and answers all of it.
